In 2013 Deloitte appointed Sharkey to refit their 50,000 sqft office space in central Edinburgh. Deloitte’s new design needed to deliver a vibrant and creative environment and to fulfil the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) criteria. Despite the age of the Deloitte building, in 2014 Deloitte’s office refit was awarded a Gold Ska rating. This award has been universally acknowledged as a remarkable achievement.
